Wedding Trends : 2022
Micro-Weddings Are In Remember the days when 200 people or more weddings were the thing? That’s not the trend for 2022. Even with things opening up slowly, micro-weddings are still very much a thing for 2022. There’s even a new name in the wedding industry for it: minimonies . Along with these, I’m seeing a lot of weddings with smaller dining tables and unconventional seating. No more tables of 8+ No more hours of planning seating arrangements trying to put together people you’d think would get along. Pod tables & asymmetrical seating can be harmonious. Socially distanced spatial design has thrived since we were forced into it in 2929. Similar to landscape design, spaces have taken into account negative space and separation and helped create beautiful venues that tell a story. Leave the Buffet: Self-Serve Is Out No doubt about it, buffets have lost their glamour. While we can see a future where buffets make a return in a big way, 2022 is not that year.
